Lead-safety Message: The Chemicals and Waste Youth Platform (CWYP) is a global coalition of over 6,000 children, youth and youth-serving organizations focused on bringing the voices of young people to science and policymaking processes to address toxic chemicals and hazardous waste issues such as lead exposure and lead contamination.

Lead-safety Message: Between the ages of 35 and 69 when trying every lead detox food and supplement I could buy, I reduced my blood lead level by 72% from 7.5 ug/dL to 2.1 ug/dL when most women’s lead typically rises between menopause and death. But from age 69 to 70 when I added FeEDTA daily bread to my breakfast and lunch, I reduced my blood lead level by a further 71% from 2.1 to 0.6 ug/dL, or by 92% from 1991 when I co-founded The LEAD Group. No wonder I want to make it possible for everyone to eat FeEDTA daily baked goods so you too can be enlivened as by water drops from a sprinkler!

Lead-safety Message: We need a sunset clause on diesel or gas buses and coal-fired electric public transport. Bring on the day when all the buses are electric and metro trains and light rail in the world run on solar power. Not just a greenhouse gas reduction policy but a lead emissions reduction policy too.

Lead Safety Message: It was a momentous occasion in Nov 2025 when Rodney Hide of Reality Check Radio New Zealand asked me (for the 3^rd time) to explain to the listeners what a miracle it is I’m still alive – at 86! – after being unprotected by my employer from severe lead exposure while making leaded petrol from 1964-75, considering all my co-workers had died before 2016. All thanks to years of chelation treatments, taking psyllium and lots of supplements daily!

Lead-safety Message: This artwork represents the importance of creating healthy, safe spaces where life can bloom. It encourages awareness of lead exposure and the importance of choosing lead-safe paints and materials to protect families, children and communities.
