Lead-safety Message: Between the ages of 35 and 69 when trying every lead detox food and supplement I could buy, I reduced my blood lead level by 72% from 7.5 ug/dL to 2.1 ug/dL when most women’s lead typically rises between menopause and death. But from age 69 to 70 when I added FeEDTA daily bread to my breakfast and lunch, I reduced my blood lead level by a further 71% from 2.1 to 0.6 ug/dL, or by 98% from 1990 when I co-founded The LEAD Group.
