Lead Safety Message: It was a momentous occasion in Nov 2025 when Rodney Hide of Reality Check Radio New Zealand asked me (for the 3rd time) to explain to the listeners what a miracle it is I’m still alive – at 86! – after being unprotected by my employer from severe lead exposure while making leaded petrol from 1964-75, considering all my co-workers had died before 2016. All thanks to years of chelation treatments, taking psyllium and lots of supplements daily!
