Lead-safety Message: Pumpkins are a superfood because they’re high in many nutrients essential for a well-functioning body, including: fiber, carotenoids, potassium, vitamins A, E, and C, omega-3 fatty acids, zinc, selenium, iron, magnesium, and beta-carotene… all the nutrients you need to prevent absorption of lead and help detox lead.

Lead-safety Message: As I wrote in our Model National Lead Safety Policy (2023): David Attenborough says, “The plan is obvious: stop doing the damaging stuff”. So let’s stop burning fossil fuels, especially leaded fuels like AvGas, and stop lead poisoning our kids because we need smarter, wiser minds to avert a climate crisis.

Lead-safety Message: Ballast prevents sailboats from being blown sideways by the wind, and keeps the boat right-side up. Lead poisoning turns a life upside down. Why can’t boat designers and manufacturers understand it is worth paying more to replace lead ballast with steel or tungsten ballast?

Lead-safety Message: #Grandma Lead says: it is possible to use lead crystal safely, like for cut coriander, rather than filling the second-hand stores and landfill with it. Just don’t ever keep acidic, alcoholic or hot foods and liquids in it and never heat drinks in the microwave in it!

Lead-safety Message: I eat 30 different plants plus mushrooms daily and take LivOn Vit C, Vit D, calcium and magnesium. I experiment with fresh ginger in every meal (then double the dose), and fresh garlic for brekky and lunch to see if I can get my blood lead level to fall but if I could have bone lead testing by pXRF, I’d know for sure what works!

Lead-safety Message: #Grandma Lead says: In our lead safe future, everyone will have access to bone lead testing by portable X-Ray Fluorescence (pXRF) using a Niton XL3t GOLDD+ (made by Thermo-Fisher Scientific, USA). And all earthlings should have less lead in our bones if Australian registered voters sign the Circular Economy for Lead Petition EN6714.
