Lead-safety Message: Unbelievably, dozens of kookaburras and other wild birds and animals have been used for shooting practice in far North Queensland. If they don’t die outright, lead shot pellets cause lead poisoning, which is too cruel so they are euthanised.

Lead-safety Message: As climate change warms seawater and burning fuel pollutes it and reduces oxygen levels, and overfishing removes their predators, many jellyfish species become overpopulous and clog up waterways closing down nuclear power stations and seabed mining. Lead-safety Message: Stained glass can be beautiful without being leadlighting. The lead cames (black lines made of lead) between the stained glass pieces in leadlighting pose a real hazard to young children, especially if sun has oxidised the lead. Use a LEAD Group Kit to test surface dust wipes near leadlighting or just replace it with non-leaded windows.
