Lead-safety Message: #Grandma Lead says use only glass mugs for acidic or alcoholic hot drinks. Never ceramic or pewter or crystal glasses which will leach lead into the drink. One client in 2024 was seriously lead poisoned by adding boiling water to lemon juice in a ceramic mug and replenishing the hot water for drinks throughout the day.
