Lead-safety Message: In the California condor’s range the use of lead ammunition has been banned to hunt deer, wild pig, elk, pronghorn antelope, coyotes, ground squirrels, and other non-game wildlife, so that the condor’s don’t die of lead poisoning when they eat the shot animals.
