Lead-safety Message: With the great inspiration gleaned from DIY television shows, many people unwittingly expose themselves to hazards such as lead, mould, asbestos and more. It’s important to remember that not all hazards are visible or obvious, and thus care should be taken. As well, proper processes need to be deployed to prevent these hazards remaining a problem. Ensure that all paint chips are collected onto drop sheets, removed from the site and safely disposed of – don’t leave them lying around where they can affect the health of our children, pets and wildlife.
